PVC Basket Strainers and PVC Y strainersAlso available in CPVC, Polypropylene, PVDF and PTFE materials
Your worldwide source for non-metallic basket strainers for aquatics, industrial water and aggressive fluid applications. With direct sales to over 55 countries and all 50 United States, we provide you with a thoughtful proposal based upon our engineering expertise and in-field experience acquired during the past 30 years.
Our Y strainers, simplex strainers and duplex strainers are made from corrosion resistant PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, PTFE and PVDF materials. Standard connection types are threaded, socket (glue or ultrasonic weld) and ANSI flanged. All of our strainers are available with true-union connections that enable installation and removal from the pipeline without tools. Furthermore, we offer the matching ball and butterfly valves to isolate your strainer and for other parts of your system.
Applications requiring removal of very fine particles are satisfied with our bag filter housings, offered in the same non-metal materials listed above.
We are simply the easiest and least costly company to acquire industrial non-alloy filtration and valves that you will ever come across!
Purchase orders for >$3,000 ship for free anywhere in the continental USA. We can arrange shipment worldwide for the actual shipping cost - no mark-ups or margins on freight related costs, ever!
Your project is unique and your proposal should be equally unique and project specific - that's the level of support we provide from our headquarters in the USA and representatives located in the Mid-East, China, Australia and Thailand. All of our strainer and valve products are proudly designed and manufactured here in the USA and covered by a TWO YEAR WARRANTY.
PVC strainers are typically used for ambient temperature industrial water, waste water and aggressive chemicals that would otherwise require expensive alloy strainers.
CPVC strainers are typically used for higher temperature fluids as compared to PVC.
Our polypropylene strainers are designed for harsh chemistry for which PVC and CPVC aren't as compatible.
Eastar® material is very similar to PVC except it is clear, so you can see the element and fluid within the strainer body.
All of our plastic strainers are designed to be installed and maintained without the use of tools, they are ergonomically friendly and designed for industrial use.
Plastic strainers, bag filters and valves can be used in metal pipelines to reduce costs although it is a good idea to install a 10 pipe diameter length of inlet and outlet non-metal section of pipe to help account for differences in thermal expansion, transmittal of pipe vibration and pipe loading forces.
Each application is unique and we guide you with selecting the most appropriate strainer or filter for your project. Our article library explains the differences between Y/simplex/duplex strainers and the effects of fluid velocity and differential pressure to help you select the best design for your specific application.
You may email, call or fax us for pricing and availability, or better yet, use our plastic strainer inquiry form which will prompt you for the information required to provide a proposal and for us to ensure the product we are proposing is the best choice for your specific application.
